Eligibility For NDDC Post Graduate Scholarships

• Niger Delta Origin: Applicants must be from one of the Niger Delta states, which include Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers.

 

• Academic Excellence: Candidates are usually required to have obtained a first-class or second-class upper division in their undergraduate degree from a recognized institution.

 

• Admission to a Postgraduate Program: Applicants should have secured admission into a postgraduate program (Master’s.) in a reputable university, either in Nigeria or abroad, in fields relevant to the NDDC’s objectives, such as engineering, environmental sciences, agriculture, and other related disciplines.

 

• NYSC Discharge Certificate: For Nigerian graduates, possession of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate or an exemption letter is often mandatory.

 

• Good Moral Character: Applicants are expected to possess good moral character and must not have any criminal record.

 

• Not more than 40 years old
